foods that would be good to eat on the go while driving? I'm a courier, so honestly I am in my van driving for about 10 hours a day
I've been taking chicken strips and pieces of steak I cut into strips and fry. Also been taking some radishes, celery, cucumbers. Just looking for something a little different that would hold well in a cooler so I don't get tired of the same ole all the time. I don't get a chance to make it home for dinner, so lunch is more like my dinner time since I head out at about 3 pm and dont get home till about 3 am.

Re: Any suggestions for....
I commute on a plane from Boston to New York a lot.I needed something also..I made up a tuna salad that has in it the veggie's you already eat and others and wrap it in a long Rommaine leaf. few of those in my Ziplock bag with my plastic ice in my little carry cooler are great..they are cold and don't leak and easy to eat..now I moved onto Chiken, Ham and Turkey salad roll upsMale/46

Hmmm..
your boredom, same old same old-- has me thinking....
Crab salad, Shrimp salad, wow-- how about Shaved Steak salad!
we will need to control what we use for a binder to have them leak free but I bet we could create diverse dozens of them from the exceptable list!
feel a cookbook collaboration in the making

Hard boiled eggs keep well in a cooler. Cheese cubes/sticks also keep well. If you get those individual packets of mayo or mustard or even a small bottle of hot sauce, they can add more flavor to your foods too.~Megs~

Re: Any suggestions for....
Kudos to you for getting prepared! Here are a few items to take:
Quiche - cut up in small squares for bitesized eating or take along a fork and stop along the way to have a quick meal
Meat, cheese and veggie "tray" but in plastic bags. Think of the assortment you like...olives, mozzarella, salami, celery, broccoli, cauliflower, etc...
Caprese salad
Chicken broth "soup" with induction veggies
Meatballs
Pizza slices The Lighter Side of Low-Carb: I Can't Believe it's Cauliflower Pizza Crust!
Chicken wings or drumsticks
Lasagna rollups The Lighter Side of Low-Carb: Cailiflower "Dough" Lasagna Roll-Ups
Steak kebabs
Chicken kebabs
If I come up with any other ideas...I'll be back!
