I wasn't planning on weighing myself these first two weeks, but I had an early appointment with my nutrionist this morning and she insisted. So, six pounds gone in 4 days. Not so bad, I guess.
I'd be a little more excited about it if it weren't for the fact that I feel like I just got kicked in the kidney by a horse. I've had a headache since I started Monday and I'm not sure if my stomach hurts because that's a symptom of ketosis or because I'm still hungry. I think it's my body adjusting, my stomach shrinking, or something.
Drinking all that water has gotten easier. I almost gave in to adding a packet of crystal lite last night with dinner, thanks to my husband who loves that stuff, but I resisted. I think that's been my only craving really.
My husband's been really good about the menu, or the lack thereof, according to him. I thought I might get into trouble when it came to preparing meals for my three year old, but that's been relatively easy as well. My son loves pastas and breads, but it hasn't been a problem.
So,.....so far, so good.
