  • No Loss After 6 Days

    Hiya

    im getting slightly disheartened by the fact that i have been excellent and not cheated once in the 6 days and i seem to have not lost any weight.

    i have eaten my veges, drank my 2 litres of water a day and ate 3 balanced (meat & Veg) meal throughout the day.

    i havent been exerxising as much as i would like as i have an 8 month old girl and it hard. I do walk alot about 1 hour everyday

    Can anyone shed some light?

    I would suggest you post your menu complete with the amount/measurements of your food. Are you on Induction? Just a suggestion. Also get a tape measure & take your measurements so you can keep track of the inches you lose. Are you feeling better? Have more energy? Appetite decreased? There are many ways to measure your success.

      Might be stuck. Maybe a shock toy your systems what ou need. Stay positive. God Bless, Joe

          Yep...post your menu..everything you eat AND drink.

          I don't know about having to shock your system after only 6 days...I would say Atkins would have been the shock to the system. JMO.

            well my sister said today she could see a difference especially around my tummy, so im hoping the Whoosh fairy might come soon.

            i posted a food diary 2 weeks ago and no one replied so...

            Also i am on induction, have been on and off it for 4 weeks as after 7 days of no signs of movement on the scales, i give in.

            I also have the odd glass of Diet Coke, maybe one a day, but i have been drinking the water and when i done atkin previously Diet Coke did not affect me

              Brekkie: 3 egg omelette with mushrooms (85g) and cheese (2oz)

              Snack: 5 x Chicken Wings

              Lunch: Cod Fillet with cheese (2oz) & Cabbage & Leek (100g)

              Snack: 5 x Chicken Wings

              Dinner: Salad (140g) & Lamb Shank

              2 x Sweetners (2 carbs)

              Drinks: Water & Decaf Coffee

              All I can see off the bat is that you are at your max cheese and sweetner allowance and you aren't getting your 2 cups of salad a day unless your dinner is big. Have you used fitday?? Your percentages for induction should be approx 5%carbs/65%fat/30%protein. You should be eating around your BMR. You can even eat a couple of hundred over on Atkins. Also by going on and off several times in a month you are kind of yoyo dieting and that could definately have an affect on how much you lost this time.

              I would suggest that you commit to a clean induction for two weeks...don't weigh until your induction is over. Cut out the artificial sweetners. You can put them back in in two weeks and see if it affects you. Yes, in the past you could use them. But you are different now. Had a baby. Take your measurements.

              Hope something I suggested helps.
