  • When does appetite return?

    I can't complain...because I know I have to eat to live....but I'm loving the fact that I'm not living to eat....fantastic...
I only eat my carefully planned meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner) and don't even get a twinge of hunger in between (compared to me believing I was hungry for chocolate every 15 minutes or when the bag was empty whichever came first lol)
I like only eating because I have to. I'm on day 11 and I'm wondering if my (bad overactive) appetite will ever return? I hope not.
Has anyone had a diminished appetite only to find out later on it returns with a vengeance.
If I stay this way, I'm certain I can do this.

    Re: When does appetite return?

Hi Jane & congrats on your weight loss so far. I know isn't it great. I am into my 4th wk and I really have to force myself to eat. I never thought that would ever happen like you I was alway picking and eating betwenn meals now I am still not hungry when meal time comes round. I think that once your body starts burning the stored fat the hunger disappears so if we stay on plan and eat right we should be ok. I know some of the other girls will no doubt be along to fill you in later.

As you move up the OWL rungs and re-introduce more carb heavy foods, your appetite (not to be confused with hunger) will probably increase again, but by then you'll have trained yourself to eat right and you'll most likely know what your triggers are. That makes it all very much easier to cope with.
Don't worry... follow the plan to a "T" and you'll be fine.
      Before and after:

      PLEDGING FLIGHTS
Completed: 1st set of buildings and mountains (Everest,M.Blanc & Kilimanjaro, twice); Tower Masts & Chimneys; More virtual buildings; Challenger's Choice x 2 (volcanos and mountains on Mars). Currently climbing: Mount Snowdon again: 416/475

Start 10 Jan 2005. Maintenance since Aug. 2005.
