    Hi all

    Just a quick question, as i am only into the 2nd day of my induction i wanted to ask?

    If for instance i have had no veggies / salad one day could i make up my 20 gram carb in other ways as in 1 tin of chopped tomatoes with maybe a red and yellow pepper chopped into it?

    Also, i have not been really hungry to be honest but have tried to eat abit, like today i had:

    3 boiled eggs for breakfast and green tea.
    then fresh chopped tomato, lettuce, red onion and 1 tin of tuna in sunflower oil with a little grated cheese

    For dinner tonight im planning on having cooked chicken with veggies,

    Well..the veggies are a non-negotionable item. Meaning you have to have them. Now...the tomatoes would count as your 1 cup other veggie. But the pepper are actually on the acceptable salad veggie list so that would go towards your 2 cups a day. So you don't have to have just salad..it is 2 cups of salad veggies.

    The veggies in the one cup list have a higher gylcemic impact I think. So it is best to limit that as intended.

    Menu looks good. Make sure you don't eat too little calories as that has been a known staller. Good luck!!

    BTW...I think your weight bar is wrong...it says you have lost 249 pounds and are 168 below target weight.

      No, the carb grams do not work like WW points. You cannot accumulate them. It is supposed to be a daily thing. One of the reasons is like Elsie says - we try not to keep ketosis going and suddenly adding major amount of carbs is counter productive. On Atkins we are slow but steady.
