  • Tabekat =^..^= Induction Day 1

Doing a SQUEAKY clean induction, starting today. I'm prepared. Mentally, emotionally, physically, spiritually. May the metabolic edge be with me.

    I have read the book.
I understand the science behind induction.
I have removed the garbage from my kitchen.
I have stocked my fridge with the appropriate foods.
I am planning my meals in advance.
    I have marked my calender.
    I have prepared my water.
I am finding inspiration by reading everyones stories and advice.
I have made this forum my happy place.
I have taken (and posted, gulp) my measurements.
I have joined the fitness challenge.
I have given up sugar and caffeine.
    I have given up negativity.
    I have honesty.
    I have integrity.
    I can do this.

I will be accountable by making a daily report of my activities.
If I need help of any kind I will trust the good people of this forum to guide me.

I will not get on the scale until March 14th, 2005

What GREAT news and an equally great post. I think whenever you write down your goals and objectives it makes them clearer and you're more likely to stick with it. So congrats on your new improved start.

I've done the same thing, no more Splenda, no more nuttin' that isn't on the Induction list of permitted foods. In fact I went to the official Atkins site, set up an account (it's free - which you know already) and downloaded the list of foods and taped it to the fridge (They suggest that) and I should have done it long ago.

And I'll be right here to cheer you on

It looks like your plans will be quickly finding fruition in your willingness to elaborate!

At ADBB we also have a journalling section where I encourage you to go and keep track of what you are doing, what works and how you are feeling on this WOE. It helps others when 'thinking out loud' takes place.

It also keeps you accountable to some degree, too, I think!

                :hug

                Here's to your success!
