Good for you for having the list with you before you start.
My advice is to eat the foods YOU like off the list because you're the one who has to eat it. So sit down with the Acceptable Foods List and look it over. Pick out the foods you like and the foods you are willing to try. Then look through the recipe section and find recipes or ideas for how to prepare that food.
- 2 x oopsie rolls (for the buns)
- 1 x 1 oz slice of nitrate free, sugar free roast beef from Trader Joe's
- 1 x 1 oz slice of natural organic swiss cheese also from Trader Joe's
- 1 x 1 teaspoon of dijon mustard
- 1 x .25 cup of alfalfa sprouts
- some of daily lettuce allowance
- slice of tomato from the extra cup veggies allowance
----------- I cannot tell that I am not eating bread. It's so yummy.
I also love throwing a chuck roast (or pork roast) in a slow cooker in the morning. I put in some onions, olive oil and some soy sauce. I rub the roast with Montreal Steak Seasoning and by dinner I have an amazing slab of meat to eat.
To get my chip fix, I munch on pork rinds--just make sure to check the labels because a lot of the brands do have some sugar.
You may encounter many defeats, but you must not be defeated. In fact, it may be necessary to encounter the defeats, so you can know who you are, what you can rise from, how you can still come out of it. ~Maya Angelo~
