    Lost 7 pounds in 5 days

    I'm so excited! I've lost 7 pounds in 5 days, this has never happened to me before! My husband has lost 9 pounds! Our daughter had to drag us kicking and screaming into this diet, it goes against eveything I have ever learned and at 260 pounds, I was an EXPERT on diets!!! We started out saying we would try the two week induction, the food is so good! I can't believe we get to eat all this stuff and we are still losing weight! :icondance

      CONGRATULATIONS! i know, some of it really goes against the ingrained diet rule grain. it still freaks me out to use butter. but I can tell my body is changing and my clothes are looser and i really think my whole system likes getting dependable regular succulent meals....

                  Weight Loss: 8lbs = 13 stones 12 pounds

                      GOOD JOB!!!!!!

                      One of the reasons why I decided to go on Atkins was the Food List, because everything on there was "normal" to me and I enjoyed the fact that I could eat full fat cheeses, heavy cream and other stuff that are taboo on other diets.

                              I know what you mean, I have spent the last like, 6 months, trying to talk my DH into thinking this was a healthy way to eat (In this time i'd start for a day or a week and fall off again over and over) But low and behold, he's now doing it WITH me! He was at 198 I think, and he's lost 8 lbs in the last 6 days, while i've lost only 3.5. He always made a big deal about how he would see 7-8 lbs come off me and never thought he could do it that fast, and now he's lost 3 times faster than me! So he's ecstatic lol
