  • A Question About Cutting the Cheese.....

I had read in another topic section about consuming "processed cheese" i.e. Velveeta or Kraft as being a no-no. I must have over-looked this in the book because I read that only "new cheeses" i.e. cottage cheese were no-no's particularly during induction. (I am on day 1 of induction) I had consumed 3 ounces of sliced cheese from Wal-Mart's Great Value today. I guess my question is is this ok for induction? :confused

The start of anything new always has a steep learning curve. Keep you chin up you will get there eventually.

Day 1 is not ruined, this is a learning experience. You made a mistake, now you are learning from it. I made quite a few slip-ups when I first started (heck, I still do). Just pick yourself up and keep going. Good luck!

As long as the rest of your menu was Induction friendly, you should not be too much the worse for wear.

Unfortunately, "cutting the cheese" can have a variety of meanings.

However, it's best to stay away from the "plastic" brand of cheese.

If it is described as 'cheese food' rather than 'cheese', Starmaker.
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
