    I WAS WONDERING WHAT IS A GREAT SCALE TO PURCHASE AND FROM WHERE I AM LOOKING FOR A DIGITAL WEIGHT LOSS FRIENDLY SCALE THAT HAS THE NEW FUNCTIONS OF ENTERING WEIGHT AND SETTING A GOAL ETC AND AFFORDABLE UNDER $50.00 ANY SUGGESTIONS. I DO NOT OWN A SCALE. I USE THE SCALE AT MY GYM AND IT IS THE ONE THAT IS IN THE DOCTORS OFFICE LOL YOU KNOW THE ONE YOU MOVE THE PIECE UNTIL IT BALANCES WELL I WANT SOMETHING I CAN LOOK AND SEE MY WEIGHT NOT PLAY AROUND AND BALANCE. I WANT ACCURATE NUMBERS LOL BUT UMMM YEA I WILL BE WEIGHING MYSELF ONCE A MONTH AND MY FIRST WEIGH IN IS ON AUGUST 10TH SO I WOULD LIKE ONE FOR THEN. LIVE UPDATES WILL BE ON MY YOU TUBE CHANNEL.

    ANY SUGGESTIONS PLEASE LET ME KNOW THE NAME PRICE SPECIFICATIONS AND WHERE I CAN PURCHASE IT.

    I have never yet found a reliable digital scale. I am actually shopping on line for a doctors scale of the type you mentioned. They are the only ones that are truly accurate as far as I can tell.

      My vote is for using the same scale week to week. The type or quality isn't really relevant. Any new scale should be accurate to within +/- 4 pounds. All you are really concerned about is the amount lost -- Whether you are really 150 or 154 (just an example!) isn't as critical.

      From my experience, the better option is to use a scale not at the house. It becomes too much of a distraction to the main focus of eating healthy. Although I have a scale at home, I would encourage you to rid yourself of one and swing by the doctor's office, a health clinic, or a friend's house once a week to check. As long as whatever you pick for location, you don't change later as no two scales will ever give the exact same measurement IMHO!

        DONT BUY ONE!!! I have found that "scale jumping" is the thing that is a little discouraging! If you just keep using the scales at the gym, it will show better results and also give you a reason to go to the gym! What better way to stay motivated?? I actually had a really nice set of scales, and gave them to a friend this weekend. I am not going to do that again! I am going to go out to the local hospital to weigh every 3 days! That is my intentions anyway, just hope it works!

          O ok thanks for replying let me know when you find a good one. I mean the scale at the gym is annoying lol I want my weight to appear before my eyes but it is not a big deal its the physical results that counts.

          Well I was just looking for a scale with those specifications. but you are right all that matters are the physical results thanks. yea I do not own a scale at home so I do not have to worry about that.

          It is discouraging if you are obbsessed with weighing yourself all the time I am not I will weigh myself once a month and I would like one so when I do so i can physically read the numbers. Thanks for the concern I guess I shouldn't stress about having one it is just that I want one to track my progress at home once a month. Since no one knows of a good scale there is nothing else to do then wait till someone recommend a scale to those specifications. Thanks for the reply.
