I really feel the need to chew on some gum! I work with people all day and this cheese and egg breath just isn't cutting it. Is there a gum out there we can chew while in induction? help!
I'm sure there are plenty of people out there who have had a successful weight loss and chewed gum at the same time. I think I remember reading on this forum a couple of years ago that "chewing gum never made anybody fat."
I'm just trying to do this thing more by the book this time, you know??
I'm chewing sugarless gum...alcohols be damned, I can't stand the ketosis taste. It has 1 carb per piece so I limit myself to a few pieces per day but it does help with the yucky taste/breath and isn't hurting my ketosis.
At the end of the induction list under artificial sweetners, he says " certain surar alcohols such as malitol do not affect blood sugar and are acceptable". I chew sugarless gum. Keeps people from avoiding me.
Just be sure to count each piece as a sweetner allotment for the day.
