    Re: Chinese!

Most Chinese foods contain some sugars and cornstarch. Unless you ask the owner to make yours special without these things, and trust that he/she is actually doing so, I would stay away from American Chinese restaurants. Even beef with broccoli has substantial thickeners with carbs. I would go very carefully with Chinese food, and of course any rice, noodles, and fortune cookies are out.

It's not about the results. Its about the process.

      Hi,
I would also ask them to leave out the MSG. It's pure beet juice, (sugar). I ususally go for the veggie/meat stir-fry without corn starch, MSG and sweetners. Be very clear when ordering, tell your waitress that you are unable to eat these things- breading, sweetners, corn starch, starches and MSG. Also Soy sauce if you're not on Rung 6 Lagumes.
      Hope that helps.

                Re: Chinese!

I'd just make my own chinese food myself. I trust myself more than I would another person cooking my food for me. Just look up the recipes and take out what you don't need in it. You know, all the carby stuff. =) I usually just do stir fry anway. Turns out delicious.
