    20 a day

Do you absolutely have to hit 20 carbs a day??? I keep hearing that Atkins will not work or do very little for you if you dont hit the 20 a day

    Is this true???

    Re: 20 a day

That is such a good question and one I am wondering about as well. I am ready to move to owl rung 1 because I feel like im not getting enough veggie carbs from 3 cups of veggies a day. I am not bored by induction but I am losing slowly and keep going up and down on the scale, its driving me crazy!

during induction, i usually hit between 12 and 18 net carbs. you don't necessarily have to hit 20 carbs exactly just as long as you don't go over 20 net carbs.

So what you're saying is if I only have say 10-11 carbs in a day, thats fine, I'll still see full benefits.

I already tried the Induction but quit today because of the 20 carb thing and didnt think I was doin it right.

As Monie said, the 20 net carbs is a maximum, so you are doing fine as long as 'most' of your net carbs are from your veg as in DANDR
          3. Eat no more than 20 grams a day of carbohydrate, most of which must come in the form of salad greens and other vegetables.
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
