  • I need help!

Lat year I lost 20 pounds doing LA weightloss for my wedding. We have now been married for 7 months and I have put on 25 pounds. Since Christmas I have been trying atkins because I want to see weight loss and I know so many people that have done this diet and lost a ton of weight quickly. After Christmas, I must admit there had been cheating days/weekends. But for the past two weeks I have been completely committed to this diet and drinking tons of water! The only thing that has been lacking is excercise. I do try to exercise everyday, but I probably don't do it as long as I should. I am still following the diet exactly and I have not lost a pound. I'm sick of gaining weight and now I just don't know what to do! Does anyone have tips for induction?

Well the first thing everyone is going to ask for is a couple days worth of menus. Dont leave out anything, post everything you eat.

      Woohoo
:joy :joy :joy 2 weeks and NO WEIGHT GAIN :joy :joy :joy
dont let it get you down - it is a success!!

Maybe if you post a detailed list of what you are eating in the 'Review my Menu' forum someone might spot a potential problem food or suggest how to 'tweak' your menu to help weightloss.

BTW - several people have posted that they lost nothing in the first two induction weeks but started to lose once they moved onto OWL.

As you have 25 pounds to lose you might find that moving into OWL now is a good way to start things moving for you and allow you to discover which food groups affect you and the best way for you to change your eating patterns to stay at goal when you reach it for life!.
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!
