  • starting again!!!

    hi all

    after 10 weeks on atkins i lost 26lbs, i felt great, looked great then when i finished working in holland and came home (hartlepool uk) i have not been on atkins since!! i have put all the weight back on and feel like s***!! it was super easy being away but i cant seem to do it at home .after waking up each day and saying"today is the day" i screw up straight away. well today im starting for real and am trying to un do the crap ive put myself through over the last 2-3 months

    Good luck! You can do it...come back here when you have a moment of weekness and look at the before and afters...you will put down whatever you are holding that isn't on plan.

      clean the kitchen.. get rid of all the non atkins friendly stuff and stock up on cheese and eggs.. maybe boil some eggs and keep them in the fridge so that you can grab a couple quickly in the morning - keep salad greens and dressing close by for a quick salad, pre cook some chicken breasts and keep it in there too for a quick bite... i find if i prepare, then i wont blow it because i dont want to wait for things to cook

        Sorry to hear it all went pearshaped for you, but glad to see you posting again.

        One member used to have this quote in her signature
        Failing to plan is planning to fail!
        so you need to get a plan into action!

        Have you explained to your family just what foods you are allowing yourself? Pinning a list up somewhere might help them keep you on track.

          HI Mike:

          Welcome back. I fell off the wagon too and running after it to jump back on has left me a bit out of breath. I'm here though. Sometimes when you fall once, you're stronger for the next time. I'll hope that such is the case for both of us.
