I know sometimes isn't "recommended" but its ok if a sub a shake and bar for 2 meals on some days, yeah? Im so lazy! lol

an entire one would be a bit much. I have maybe a third of one if I'm DYING for a treat.
but it's up to you. do you want to risk knocking yourself out of ketosis? that's been my dealbreaker as of late.the big atkins re-start on july 14/08...

Its a really bad idea. Not only will it probably stall you but those things have a ton of fake crap in them which is not good for you. Also, as far as the bars go it depends on what's in them. I know Atkins makes a bunch of different kinds but a lot of them have nuts or peanut butter or soy in them which are not allowed until various rungs of OWL. Plus if you're subbing the products for two meals you're probably not getting enough veggies either. If you're having trouble with preparing things I recommend taking a day out of the week to prepare a ton of food. That's what I do and that way I have stuff to eat during the week. I cook up a bunch of taco meat to use for taco salads and chicken which you can also eat in salads and in stir fry or casseroles. You can also make a bunch of egg muffins (mini quiches) for a quick breakfast and measure out portions of vegetables and cheese and put them in ziplock bags.
