  • I DID IT! I DID IT! I DID IT!

:icondance For the first time in a year, I have made it 1 day of induction, clean as a whistle! No cheating, no nothing! I even got in all my water! Woooo Hoooooo!!!! :joy The only thing I didn't do was my WATP and I forgot to take my supplements but I am just excited. I think that maybe, just maybe I really have a chance to do this!! I wanna thank all of you who wrote to me and gave me support; I truly think it was because of you that I made it thru this day. I am truly grateful---thank you.

        Hi JuJu

        YAY!

I am so..so..soooooooo happy or you! you have every reason to celebrate and feel proud of yourself. And you're drinking your water too! that's fabulous!

I walked my first mile with WATP yesterday so I'm doing the happy dance right beside you I'm sending you a big hug through the computer!

BTW, I really want to thank you for the recommendation of WATP...you know I really thought it was going to be some barbie doll clone with a group of super models and body builders working out behind her. But she's really very motivating and has a nice gentle way about her and the other people working out are just every day folk. When I saw that little progress bar they flash during the video hit a mile...I was flabbergasted, I even hung in for the cool down and it felt so good to stretch like that. Maybe there's hope for this fat ole body yet!

Anywhooo - you did an awesome job with the clean induction!

          lowcarbing-- good on you!

Overcoming addiction is a '1 day at a time, 1 step at a time' venture. The good news? In 9 more days you are a new person. On no other way of eating would I have lasted 6 months!

Very good for you! Just one day at a time hon, and before you know it you'll be saying "I've been cheat free one year!"

Remember... just one day at a time!

              Yaaaayyy!!!! :icondance :joy :icondance :joy

Now, I want you to close your eyes and realllllly experience how happy you are that you did this...really feel how good it is to feel pride in yourself and your accomplishments..give yourself a big hug!!! :hug
...and when you are in the midst of Induction Flu, or tempted by something illegal, I want you to close your eyes and bring back those wonderful feelings and have them carry you through the rough spots! :yes

I keep a journal, and I write in it when I'm extra happy about something, and I can see the happiness in my handwriting! It's great motivation to look back on that.
Also, I find myself celebrating all sorts of small victories like that...it makes for a really nice way of living when you allow yourself to recognize all the good stuff that comes from the efforts that you are making to change your life.
So do the happy dance, and know that you are a strong person and you are only going to get stronger!! :yes

yea I remember my first day, it was horrible, i kept looking in the cupboards arguing with my brain saying oh i can restart tomorrow... and than i was looking through pictures to find some of me, and I could only find 2. It is sad to know, that my family wont have any pics of me for the past 3 years becuase I hid from the camera. That is what did it for me. and hulagirl gave me a good kick in the butt which I needed, so I am good now.
