    Purple Haze

    Okay, so 11 days in my schtick went to full purple.

    So, am I going to wake up all Ethiopian one day? Do the pounds start flying off now?

    Will I develop powers? Can I be a crimefighter?

    It doesn't matter how dark purple your stick is in relation to how fast you lose. It can turn darker from being dehydrated (like, if you test the morning after drinking), or working out, etc... as long as it changes colour in general you're in ketosis.

    Sorry, no superpowers included. :P

      Contrary to the varying colors on the "stick", there are no degrees of ketosis. As the prior poster said, there are variables such as fluid intake.

      Liken it to pregnancy ... either a woman is pregnant or isn't pregnant.

            Also...(someone mentioned alcohol, didn't they?) alcohol will give you a false reading on the stix.
