    Excellent Job Bonnie Rose!

Sounds like your pretty much on track. Congrats on making it to week 3 thats a great accomplishment and you should be very proud. I understand about the milk....I luuuuuv milk and miss it very much. Just keep in mind that milk does have a way of making you bloated so if your going to have it try not to have too much of it.

Keep up the good work, your menu sounds pretty yummy.

Re: Bonnie Rose - Induction Week 3

Seriously... I had no idea about milk bloating me... I never have that symptom during TOM and all the sudden today do... Now I may have found the culprit!!!!

      SO FAR TODAY:

      B: 2 eggs 2 bacon 2 carbs
S: 2 slices turkey and dressing 3 carbs
L: Can tuna mayonnaise mustard and romaine (HOW MANY CARBS DOES MAYO HAVE??? I KNOW I CAN HAVE IT BUT I PUT IT IN ON MY FOOD TRACKER AT 2 TBSP AND IT SAYS 7 CARBS IS THIS RIGHT???) If that's right then 5.6 carbs

      WILL HAVE FOR DINNER:

Green beans 1 Cup w/ bacon bits and butter fried up
2 Chicken Thights (if it goes like normal and I eat like I normally do and that is 1 chicken thigh 1 Cup green beans then I am too full for the 2nd chicken thigh then only 1 chicken! I LOVE That I am not as hungry!!!)

That's only 831 calories but it's 19 of my carbs... Pretty sure there isn't a 400 calorie 1 carb food I can eat... guess I'll have to replan my dinner to include more chicken or something lol who knows but my Dr doesn't like me to go below 1200 calories

okay so I looked at the container that the caffeteria at work gets their mayo packets out of... the packets just said write to blah blah blah for nutritional information... There is 0 carbs in the mayo I'm eating... I'll have to add it to my tracker as a personalized food because that's 7 more carbs I can eat a day!!!

just make sure that high fructose corn syrup isn't in the ingredients list.

I use Duke's mayonnaise because it has NO sugar, NO HFCS either.

Otherwise, mayonnaise should NOT have carbs.

yeah mine doesn't have any of that. I think that on the "count your calories" website I'm on whatever brand they chose they are trying to scare you into not eating it by using the highest fat/carb/protein one they can find!

Re: Bonnie Rose - Induction Week 3

I would suggest that if the ingredients of any mayo have sugar listed that you should count 0.49 carbs per 'serving' as they are allowed to state zero if one serving has less than 0.5 carbs!
If sugar is not listed in the ingredients then you are probably OK not counting any carbs, but as mayo has egg in it which has about 0.6 carbs per egg, you might be better advised to count at least a fraction of a carb per serving to err on the side of caution.
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!

Check out our Low Carb Recipes website and add to it!!

Re: Bonnie Rose - Induction Week 3

It has me counting 3.5 carbs per Tbsp so I think I will count .5 of that to consider the egg in it. No sugar in mine though!

You might want to look at FitDay for tracking your food. It doesn't seem to have such major variations.

Re: Bonnie Rose - Induction Week 3

B: 4 bacons (just too tired of eggs for today)
L: 2 chicken w/ provolone and mushrooms sauted in butter (suprised to find that caff at work puts "garlic mix" on chicken and burgers and it's their own pepper garlic powder and salt mix but I just found out it has some sugar in it too.... None of that for me (asked for none today and just put my own salt/pepper on it)

I did eat a brownie today. It was my 1 year at work and there were delicious brownies. But I kicked myself in the butt and moved on. I am not going to take that mistake as permission to continue off plan for the rest of the day (or week) as I used to....

Will be back later to talk about dinner... not sure what I'll make yet but I'm bored of chicken so I may go with hamburgers and whip up some oopsies.

Had hamburgers for dinner last night... no oopsies though because of all of the carbs in the brownie I only ate the rest of my veggies for the day and called that a day on carbs... Had bacon burger and like a gazillion (5) additional glasses of water to my normal... Hopefully I wont gain too much from this slip...

                        TODAY:

Breafast: 4 bacons 2 eggs (don't know WHY I was so hungry? Left over from the brownie maybe?)
                        Lunch: 2 Cups Romaine
                        2 pepper rings
2 eggs (hard boiled on top of the salad)
                        1 oz cheese
                        olive oil
                        red wine vinegar
                        Turkey *sugar free*
                        avocado (1/4 of one)
Decafeinated Iced Tea w/ 2 tsp splenda
Dinner will probably be at the brewery so probably halibut with brie cheese and roasted red peppers and diet coke (i was a 10 a week girl until a couple days ago now just on the weekends while we're out not at home at all)
