    Induction Day 11 - Weight Loss 9 lbs

    Well, day 11 of my induction phase and I've lost 9 pounds. I feel really good and have completely gone off all of my diabetes meds including insulin injections, amaryl and metformin. I'm doing the ABSCP which is a tiny bit different than ANDR, but just being off all the meds makes me really happy. All of the information on this forum has been invaluable in helping me as well as inspirational

    Meds: 2000MG Metformin/day - Humulin on sliding scale - Lantus 20 units at night - Amaryl 4MG
    Off all meds now thanks to Atkins!:clapping:

    You sound as if you are doing wonderfully! Congrats on your success.
    I was curious... What is the ABSCP ? Sorry not familiar with the phrase.

      It stands for the Atkins Blood Sugar Control Program from the book
