  • Day 7 of induction - Missin' my bread

    Induction flu is gone, I feel good, and I've lost more weight! My goal is 20lbs and so far I've lost 6lbs. I have energy and my appetite is coming back a little bit (not sure why, I haven't upped my carb intake). However, I really miss bread! Sourdough bread in particular!!!!! I had the fortune of finding Dreamfields pasta tonight at my grocery store, so now I have that again . I am very pleased with how much more control I've gained over my eating habits and my body. I'm not out of control anymore as far as eating junk goes. I'm proud of myself!

    Congratulations on your pounds. That is wonderful.
    If you are on induction Dreamfields is not legal to eat. You are supposed to wait to rung 9 I think before trying flours again.
    Have you tried making something like oopsie rolls to help you out with your bread issue? Is it the taste or the convenience you miss?

    Also when you climb the rungs and get to the seed rung you can make stuff out of flax seed and almond flour that is really good.
    I may miss bread sometimes but I don't crave it. And one minute flax muffins totally satisfied me.
