  • OK, this is gonna work!!

This is day 3 of induction and 4 lbs gone, yay! Last night I was so hungry, even after a dinner of steak, mushrooms, and wax beans. So I made a hamburger, dipped in buffalo sauce (a little ranch dressing and franks red hot), and was still hungry. I had been drinking my water all day, so that
    was not this issue.

All I needed I guess was something sweet, cause I mixed up some low fat philladelphia cream cheese, a packet of splenda, and a little lemon extract, and just had a spoonfull and I was fine.

I know there a lots of receipies out there I still want to try, definatly the oopsie rolls, but this simple little mixture really gives me hope.

What you will find is that what you are interpreting as hunger may only be your carb cravings. They will go away after a few more days and you will find yourself less "hungry" .... please let me know if I am right about this. For now when you get these ... eat meat and cheese and legal foods .... LOTS of water also helps.

Yes Lisa. It is going to work. You are already working it. And it becomes easier once you are over that first hurdle. Good job.

Thanks for the replies, actually, I think I really was hungry, tummy growling and all, I don't know why that little bite helped, but I believe it was true hunger. As for the water, I have a 40 oz water "jug" that has been with me for the past few days. Iced water is really my drink of choice anyways.
However, today is much better, and I made some of the oopsie rolls, but didnt have the cream of tartar, so they are kinda floppy, but with the onion powder, garlic powder, and a pinch of basil, they are still yummy. I really just picked at the pieces stuck to the cookie sheet, but cant wait to have one tomorrow.

Im sure there is a recipe somewhere on this board, but here is a link to the recipe:

Like I said, I did mess up and they are more like pancakes, but the little piece I did taste was really good.

Mine usually turn out somewhat pancake like as well. The secret to getting them more fluffy is probably getting the egg white really stiff and then not overdoing the folding in process. But flat is fine with me.
I also make them with onion powder and garlic powder and add a bit of Parmesan cheese and flax meal but no sweetener. Good hamburger buns me thinks.

OMG! That sounds delicious. It's too late tonight, but I'll be making them tomorrow. Nevermore a hamburger without a bun. I love the idea of garlic powder. Thank-you!!!!!

They really are so good! I was planning to have a tuna sandwich with mine and put some dill into them. THat was delicious as well. I've also seen them made as little "English Muffin" Pizzas and adding cinnamon and vanilla (pure organic vanilla has no corn syrup normally) and eating them as "French Toast"
