I have already posted a bit about me in the Introduction and Buddy List sections. Basically, I'm trying to do the Induction for 1 month exactly until Sept. 5th. I started August 5th.
First two days I had low-carb tortillas which apparently are a no-no. So today is my first clean clean cleaaan day!
I made this thread in case I have some questions and whatnot that others can't answer in the Buddy List or whatev.
My first Q is about ketostix. Is it too early to test? I don't really taste an overwhelming metal taste but my tooth do feel weird. I am very excited to be in ketosis and just want to know...
All I drink is water.
Day 1 - 08/05/08
Breakfast: 3 Turkey Sausage, 1 cup scrambled eggs
Snack: String cheese
Lunch: LaTortilla 1-carb wrap, Sara Lee honey ham, very small shredded cheddar cheese, and 1 c. lettuce.
Snack: String cheese
Dinner: 2 plain Hamburgers w/Worsetchire Sauce, 1 c. green beans
Snack: String cheese
Worked out @ gym for 1 hr with PT.
Day 2 - 08/06/08
Breakfast: 1 Turkey Sausage, 1/4 c. scrambled eggs, 1 "doughnut" (3 carbs)
Snack: 1/4 c. cucumber
Lunch: LaTortilla 1-carb wrap, Sugar-free Pizza Sauce, 1 string cheese shredded on top
Snack: 1/4 c. cucumber
Dinner: Induction-friendly Chili (Stick To Your Ribs Chili) w/2 tsp. sour cream
Snack: 2 plain hamburgers w/worsetchire sauce
Did not work out.
08/07/08 - Day 3 (really day 1 tho of no tortillas! LOL)
Breakfast: Scrambled eggs, 1 "doughnut" (1g carb?, 3g carb) 4g carbs
Snack: 1 plain hamburger with worsetchire sauce in it 0g carb?
Lunch: Turkey slices wrapped in romaine lettuce, string cheese - 2g carbs
Snack: 1 plain hamburger with worsetcire sauce in it 0g carb
Dinner: 1 skinless/boneless chicken breast, 1 c. green beans - 2g carbs
Snack: little bit more chicken
Working out 1 hr in FAST (functional sports agility training) class.
08/08/08 - Day 4
Breakfast: 2 scrambled eggs
Snack: 1 slice of swiss cheese
Lunch: 1 plain hamburger with worsetchire sauce in it, wrapped in 2 romaine lettuce leafs
Snack: none. my pickles were bad. lol
Dinner: Baked plain ham, 1 c. raw onion sauted
Did not work out.
08/09/08 - Day 5
Breakfast: 2 scrambled eggs, 2 pinches of cheddar cheese, 3 turkey sausages
Snack/Lunch: 1 c. raw onion sauted, 3 cheese curds
Snack: 3 1/2 inch slices of cheddar cheese
Dinner: Boneless skinless baked chicken breast, 2 c. lettuce w/induction-friendly honey mustard dressing
Snack: String cheese x2, Doughnut w/no glaze
Did not work out.
08/10/08 - Day 6 (down 3lbs!)
Breakfast: 2 scrambled eggs, 2 pinches of cheddar cheese, 1 doughnut
Lunch: Boneless skinless baked chicken breast, 2 c. lettuce w/induction-friendly honey mustard dressing
Dinner: Steak, 1 c. snow peas
Snack: String cheese x2
Worked out @ gym for 1 1/2 hours - weight rotations.
08/11/08 - Day 7
Breakfast: 2 scrambled eggs, 2 pinches of cheddar cheese, 2 pieces of bacon
Snack: 5 slices of cheddar cheese (1/2 in. thick at max?)
Lunch: Boneless skinless baked chicken breast, 1 c. lettuce w/induction-friendly honey mustard dressing
Snack: String cheese
Dinner: 1 boneless skinless baked chicken breast dipped in indution-friendly honey mustard dressing
Snack: 1 c. raw onion sauted, 1 pickle, 1/4 plain hamburger
08/12/08 - Day 8
Breakfast: 1 scrambled egg, 2 pinches of cheddar cheese
Snack: 1/4 plain hamburger
Lunch: 1 plain hamburger (wrapped in,) 1c. romaine lettuce leaves, 1 pickle
Dinner: 2 hamburgers, an onion?
?? Bad day -- forgot, but it was all on track
Worked out @ gym for 1 hour with PT.
08/13/08 - Day 9
Breakfast: 4 Slices of bacon, 1 scrambled egg, 2 pinches of cheddar cheese
Snack: 1 string cheese
Lunch: 1 plain hamburger, 2 pickles
Snack: 1 string cheese
Dinner: Shredded hot beef, small salad, 1 c. raw onion sauted
Did not work out. Packed for the move!
08/14/08 - Day 10
Breakfast: 4 slices of bacon, 2 scrambled eggs, 2 pinches of cheddar cheese
Forgot the rest LOL but was on track
08/15/08 - Day 11

08/16/08 - Day 12
Breakfast: 2 scrambled eggs with cheese, 3 slices of bacon
Lunch: None... was moving...
Dinner: 1 rotisserie seasoned chicken breast, 2 c. salad with induction-friendly honey mustard dressing, 1 c. raw onion sauted
08/17/08 - Day 13
Breakfast: 1 scrambled egg, 2 pinches of cheddar cheese
Lunch: 1 rotisserie seasoned chicken breast, 2 c. salad with induction-friendly honey mustard dressing
Dinner: 5 pieces of bacon, 2 scrambled eggs with 1/4 c. cheddar cheese
Snacks: 3 induction-friendly mini doughnuts
08/18/08 - Day 14!!!!
At 163lbs
Breakfast: 1/2 c. scrambled egg, 2 pinches of cheddar cheese, 1 turkey sausage link
Snack/Lunch - forgot
Dinner: 2 hamburgers, cheddar cheese, romaine lettuce
Snacks: Induction-friendly doughnut
