  • What does induction flu mean?

I know that I am having induction flu. I have the symptoms, I even had to leave work early today to come back to my dorm room and sleep because I was so weak. Thirsty a lot, majorly fatigued, nauesous occassionally, etc.

I couldn't find the Ketostix at my store, and I've been reading that they aren't very reliable and/or accurate. I dont really have a metallic taste in my mouth, I have noticed it kinda tasted a lil different, but nothing like I'm sucking on metal.

I'm wondering....does this mean that my body is converting? Or going through ketosis? I haven't lost weight or inches yet, its Day 3 for me. Keeping my carbs under 20g a day. Any insight you have would be helpful.

    Hi.

"Induction flu" is low carber slang for what Dr. Atkins described in Chapter 11 "Addictions and Withdrawal". I suggest that you re-read this section to fully understand what's happening to your body, as he explains it much better and more thoroughly than what I've seen written here.
