  • What is your favorite induction phase recipe?

Hi everyone, I'm stumped and stuck in the same ole chow routine and looking for some new ideas to freashen up my choices. The board is great with some recipes I've found hunting through threads, but I havent' found that many yet.

So, if you have a fave that gets you through the day, I'd love for you to share! (If you know of a great recipe website that would be great too.)

    Thank you!!

        Have you seen this thread

I added the heroin wing recipe in there. It is one of my favourites.

fry up some parmesan cheese and let it cool. yummy cheese crackers.

Once you pass induction you can top it with a dolup of sour cream and then a slice of pepperoni. Sounds kinda of gross, but its sooooo yummy.

Re: What is your favorite induction phase recipe?

Thank you everyone! I'm off to do some Saturday shopping and so I can get prepared for my second week of induction.

This forum is so great. I tried Atkins several years ago and it fa-zizzled - mostly because I was uneducated about it and I wasn't as committed as I am this go round.

Back to this forum -- wow! What a great tool, motivator and resource! I'm confident this time around I will be successful!

Sounds yummmy, we can have sour cream on induction though. It is on the acceptable list (2 tablespoons).

At least I believe we can

For fast and easy when you are starved, keep pico de gallo on hand and throw it into scrambled eggs with cheese. Pico is mostly tomatoes, and onions are legal too, so you get your eggs, your fats, your veggies and you get them fast. If you have sausage, throw some of that in there too!

Thanks for confirming, that induction allowed food sheet stays with me all day! I am sure people find it weird that I carry a little folder around LOL

Re: What is your favorite induction phase recipe?

I can't wait to hear about the oopsie pizza. It sounds interesting. I tried cauliflower hash browns (read about in another thread) with my breakfast this morning and I really liked them. I'm going to try the fried parm later today and maybe this mock danish thing that's referenced in a few posts. It sounds bizarre - but, could potentially be the thing for a sweet craving. We'll see!

Happy Sunday everyone. Hope it's cool in your neck of the woods - sposed to hit 104 in mine today!

Re: What is your favorite induction phase recipe?

This week I've been making the same egg salad lunch and I'm still not sick of it lol, here's the recipe:
                          1. mix 3 eggs, 2 yolk hard boiled eggs;mashed + Mayo + tad of mustard + crumbled up bacon
                          2. shred 4 inner leaves of romaine lettuce and scatter on top
                          voila!
life is what you make it.
One should eat to live, not live to eat.

I forgot to mention you have to use the fresh shredded parmesan and not the grated kind. The grated doesn't melt.

I just made the cauliflower potatoes tonight, listed in the receipes section under side dishes. OMG, they are great. Im only on day 10, but 8.5 lbs gone. With all the yummy receipes listed, I feel I can continue on this WOE. I am very happy with inductions, and may stay on it a bit longer than the 2 weeks. Only problem with the recepies section is that my printer is broken and I have to hand write all the yummy receipies that I want to try, and there are so many I want to try. A big thanks to all who put those recepies up.

                              Lisa
