  • 14 days...only 2 down...

    Totally frusterated....

    I have only lost 2 pounds in 15 days and have stayed
    totally on the induction restricted diet.

    I have even ran 3 miles on my tread mill 11 of the 15 days!

    I have 20 pounds to loose,,,I was tempted once but never strayed
    one bite. I know I am in ketosis because I feel it.

    I guess what I am saying is I think I could have lost the 2 pounds
    without being so strict on my eating...Maybe its because I am
    50 and the pounds don't come off so fast.

    I need some support to help me go on.

    I know I have to be healthier even with the 2 pound loss
    because I have been taking my vitamines, drinking water
    and that darn 3 miles on my treadmill every day!

    Someone please chime in,,,,,,,,TALK TO ME!

    Why don't you post a menu of what a typical day looks like food wise for you and we can see if there are any hidden dangers for you. Also post your stats..age, height, wait, sex, how much you want to lose. Also did you take your measurements? And with the tread work remember you built some muscle as well which is heavy so in actuality you could have lost fat and replaced it with muscle. And your body may be hanging onto a little extra water if the exercising is new to you to help repair your muscles. hang in there!

      You're almost perfect!! I know its frusterating, but all the vets here would tell you that you can expect to lose 10 - 15 percent of the total weight you want to lose in the 14 day induction. At 2 pounds lost, and only 18 more to go, you're right on the nose!!!

      I find that at my size (blech) I tend to lose more inches than pounds, and the scale eventually catches up. I think you're doing GREAT! Keep it up!!

          good job.itll be fine after all it is atkins...
          but how do u know ur in ketosis?i need to know,cuz i dont know.
