I guess this will be my last time posting in this forum (but I'll still be commenting!) since my hubby and I have finished our 2 week induction and decided that both of us 1) still have some lessons to learn from induction 2) have some stalls to work on eliminating like caffeine and STICKING to the exact portions on dairy and getting those 3 cups of veggies in (without going over in the one cup category --that's been my problem...my love of broccoli!!) and 4) the fact that we're not feeling confident enough with our numbers in the past few days to move on. We always thought we were going to do an Extended Induction anyways...maybe not for long but we are.
I'm down only 5 lbs after 2 weeks (although moreso in inches which makes me happy!!) but it's been an UP and down thing on the scale the past few days which has been a bit frustrating. Plus, the Ketostix have changed from being "Moderate" to "Small" so I think I'm doing something wrong for sure. I may be consuming TOO many calories...I know we don't have to count them but I know that at times, I've gone a bit overboard. And yet somedays, I have to learn to just listen to my body's signals that it's not hungry... which I AM learning. See, lessons!
My hubby is down about 8 or 9 but it was down almost 12 so he has the same issues with the scale. We're going to try to clean up our Induction eating and plus....we admit that there may be a fair amount of metabolic resistance going on as well...both of us were in the "average" category of resistance in the DANDR.
So, I guess I move over to the Extended Induction Forum for now!!
Thanks!

But I also drink a ton of water so that's good. I do have an occasional Diet Coke though but I do try to find the ones with Splenda and not the aspartame ones but if I can't...Coke Zero isn't awful. But I bet it's a stall for me. So I'm trying to eliminate it. One cup of coffee should be enough for me.
