  • Soy Lethicin

I've given up coffee and diet soda because the caffeine was preventing me from entering Ketosis. It worked, I started heading to the medium purple. However, in the last couple of days I've been bumped down to the pink.

The only thing I've changed is switching to hot and iced herbal teas from Bigelow. I just noticed that almost all of them contain Soy Lethcin. Could this be the problem? Or should I look elswhere?

    Re: Soy Lethicin

Looking at the other ingredients, it looks as if they have actual fruit in them too which might be affecting your ketosis.
rose hips, hibiscus, peaches, natural and artificial peach flavor (soy lecithin), spices, orange peel, lemon peel, apples, strawberry leaves, roasted chicory.
Also as the soy lethicin is made from soy beans after the oil has been extracted it might be that adversely affecting you as you suggested.

I would drop those teas for the time being and maybe try to find a different make with less fruit and soy in it.
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?

also from what i hear about the ketosis things... any color is good.. no color is no ketosis, any color from pink to the deep purple is good.. and sometime the darker colors mean you are dehydrated..
