I realize that we're supposed to consume eight 8oz glasses of water daily in addition to other beverages consumed. However, I heard an interesting bit of information from a personal trainer regarding a personalized amount of water required to stay hydrated. Basically you should drink half your weight in ounces of water daily to stave off dehydration. For example 240lbs /2 = 120 ounces daily. Eight 8 ounce glasses only provide 64 ounces.
