      I did notice this
<<I have been Following the diet with Strict Rules and Have not been eating even close to 20 carbs>>
And am wondering if you are getting your 3 cups of veggies in. If you are just eating lettuce you really should be switching that up with some of the other veggies on the list for more nutrition. I think that 12-15 carbs should be coming from veggies.

Good job on the weight lost!

Thank you, Great job to you as well with your loss. Your right I am not eating any veggies other than lettuce which i just started eating on friday. I told myself i would start though so as soon as i get back into town I deffintly Am going to. Thanks again

Well the weight you lost during induction was great. I think I was about 12 pounds. 9 pounds first week...3 pounds second. It is quite normal to loss less the second week. Averaged out to 6 pounds a week and you have been blessed. I will tell you that this summer I went through a period where we had lots of never ending company and it was all I could do to stay legal and my veggie intake suffered...as did my weight loss which slowed down to..well...I think 3-4 weeks in a row to nothing. Things are quietening down and I am getting more veggies in and am back to losing again. They play an important part to this new way of life. As does another important lesson you will learn....PATIENCE. I didn't give up when the scale wasn't moving and everyone around me was eating all sorts of summer goodies...I was eventually rewarded with a 2 pound then a 1 pound and this week once again I will be recording a loss on weigh day. Hang in there...do the plan as it is written in the book...2002 edition...as written...that means eat those veggies...and you will continue to be successful!! BTW...you are at my starting weight and we have the same goal!!! You can do it!!! You are so worth it!
