My husband is doing Atkins with me (his first time, my 3rd time). He is complaining of constipation for much of the 2 week period of induction (yesterday was day 14)
He eats a lot of raw broccoli/cauliflower/romaine lettuce and drinks more than the required amount of water. He has been grinding up flax seed and using about a teaspoon a day for the last three days. Nothing seems to be working.
Any suggestions?
(He started at 183 and after 14 days is down 13 pounds - good for him but I'm soooo totally jealous! hehe) His goal is 165 so he's only 5 pounds from goal but this constipation thing is really bothering him and he's considering quitting
