  • day 6 induction and no weight loss

    can anyone help? i am on day 6 and although i have not gained weight i havn't lost any either!

    my typical day would be:-

    b-scrambled eggs with butter and cream,grilled bacon
    l-roast chicken or low carb sausages with lettuce, celery and cucumber
    d-roast chicken or belly pork with green beans and butter

    snacks-babybel cheese,sugar free jelly and cream

    I would check the sugar and carb counts in all your foods plus watch your sodium counts. The sausages and bacon may contain a lot of sodium. Sodium will so make you retain water. By the way, are you drinking all your water? If I don't drink at LEAST 64 oz of water I don't lose either. It would also help to know the quantity of the veggies you are eating so we can determine if you are eating enough veggies. Last thing I pick out ~ sugar free jelly may still have carbs, check it out and is the cream heavy cream? That is usually a once a day at the most plus double check the carb count on that.
    Hope this helps a little. Remember though ~ WATER, WATER, WATER!!

      If you meant sugar free jello, then thats what rung a bell for me. It is sweetened with aspartame, and I know thats a BIG staller for me - it totally derailed my weight loss the first time I did Atkins.

      If I notice I lose less, I try to cut back on cheese a bit and cream out completely, until I can teach myself to have cream once in a while. I find cream and ANYTHING sweetened with aspartame cause me not to lose, and in some cases gain (if I dont drink enough water)

      Everything else looks good!
