okay, well Ive eaten all the wrong things in the past two days. Alot of fraken foods and that ****. Anyway, I need to start Induction all over again. I did it first for 30 days and lost a mesely 4lbs! I guess I got really discouraged because my roomate has lost 12-14 lbs. I exercise alot too and i just went crazy these past few days. Anyway, someone please give me some hope. I want to lose 30-35 lbs by this summer. I need help... :sadblinky I just feel like crying :sadblinky

I know you can and will lose the weight you want. But try to stay strong and don't over commit, 35 pounds in less than three months is a lot of weight, I don't think it would be that healthy to lose so fast. Keep the excersise going and this board is great for support we are all here with you.

Your body will lose the weight at the speed it wants to. Just get back on track, and keep your head in the game. Dont forget to drink your water, and work out. You will see the results of that.

              Hi, :wave

I'm sorry to hear your feeling sad and blue, but that was yesterday - it's time to pick yourself up and start over again, something many of us, myself included, have had to do.

In reading your post I found my self wondering about your situation and how perceive Atkins. The following thoughts are meant with much love and support and I would ask that you consider them and reflect on why you're here in the first place.

If you're here to reach a goal by a specific date - you need to re think what Akitns is. It's critical to understand what makes this WOL (way of Life) such a proven road to profound changes in our weight, our health, the way we eat and view ourselves. And it isn't easy it takes work and determination.

This isn't a race, you can't compare yourself to anyone else, this is a hard behavior to change but once you understand that you are truly unique you'll find that the advantages of being on Atkins are so many and so rewarding that the weightloss becomes almost secondary. As long as you have the 2002 version of the book "Dr. Atkins New Diet Revolution" do a clean Induction and use the support system in place for you right here on this site you will succeed.

Without the book, and by allowing yourself to be a slave to either scales or measuring tapes or the success of others ends up in emotional misery and eating binges that will sabotage your progress

Don't put a number on the amount of weight you want to lose within a specific time period. Let's say you lose 20 pounds and not 35 your new found confidence and improved health will more than make up for the pounds you still want to lose.

And as long as you embrace the principles of this WOL that make them work for you you'll be thin and healthy not just for summer but for your lifetime.

The opportunity to reinvent yourself, and to improve your physical and emotional health is still here. You never have to go back to that slow death way of eating again unless you choose too. Don't allow yourself to fall into the trap of measuring your own success against that of others - because if you do ? you will most certainly fail.

But! if you hold your head up high, stick to your guns and Tough out Induction as clean and as by the book as possible, you will become the person you dream of, the one who lives in your mind and heart but who you don't see in the mirror.

Remember, you're not alone in this and if you want it bad enough, if you want a life of feeling great and being thin - it's yours for the asking. So make like Nike and "Just Do It" and never forget, all the support and encouragement you need (and who doesn't?) is right here on this board.
