    Re: HELP required for induction

Hey mummy! Welcome to the board! First and foremost of course you can succeed! Just put your mind to it. Give 100% and you'll get 100% back! It sounds like you're dealing with a lot of what I've been dealing with. I'm 26 and I started out at 196, I only have 1 child...so far I'm also 5'2".

My one tiny little concern is that your goal weight seems rather low. I've read all over the internet that 115 is the "minimum" weight before you'e boardering underweightness. If that's your choice that's totally cool, I just wanted to point that out. I know I have 115 as my goal weight but I'm probably going to rethink that as I get closer to goal. It all depends on how I feel and look, etc. I don't want to be bone thin, ya know?

Come here often and if you want an email buddy or whatever I'm totally here for you! It's kinda cool our stats are so close!

Hey I was looking at Fitday.com and it says a healthy weight range our women of our size is 101-130...so I guess my other source isn't right. Who knows. Whatever your goal weight is you'll look awesome!

I don't think there is a bootcamp going on right now. But on the other hand September is about to start and that means loads of exercise challenges are starting. I usually sign up for squats, push ups and abs. There is a new one with exercise video now - that one encourage you to do measurements. Check the exercise challenge forum. Hope to see you there.

I will do the water challenge in September too. It really helps me with my water consumption. That challenge is posted in the Challenge Forum

You can find the How Long Can You Go Cheat Free challenge there too.

                  Re: HELP required for induction

That goal seems a bit low to me also. I would like to point out that with Atkins you will be exercising more and will have more muscle mass therefore weigh more but look smaller than you are. Maybe set your goal a bit higher...you can always change it once you get there rather than one you may not reach. Also maybe go more by a size or a pair of jeans. Don't forget to measure yourself as there are lots of times when the scale does not move but the inches do. You can do this!!

                          Re: HELP required for induction

I think ideal weight is a weight within healthy range that you feel good at. For 5 2 (which I am too) it could be anywhere from 103 lbs to 136 (or 46 to 59 kg) or around there. I want to get down to 57 but that is me. I am older and I like curvy.

Great that you joined the abs challenge Mummy. Exercise will help with toning.

Well..Irish was saying how fitday says between 101-130. So you say you have been overweight for a long time. You have had a kid. These things affect your body. I can't pick for you. But if I was going to I would pick between 125-130. Like I said you can always put a goal meant and then set another one. My goal is higher because I have had a couple of kids...am a lot older than you...been overweight for almost 20 years and have PCOS. So 150 is something I think is realistic for me...not my dream weight...but realistic. You can do this!
