    Well, today is Sunday, March 6th 2005 and I started Atkins today. I ate 4 eggs with a slice of American Cheese and water for breakfast. For lunch, I had a bunless Whataburger with lettuce only. For Dinner, I'll be eating a chicken patty with cheese.

    I REEALLY need to go grocery shopping :yes . Thanks for reading!

    I looked at the info I posted when I started Atkins in 2003 and whoa, I gained 24 lbs. after having my baby. I have a LOOOONG way to go, but I know I can do it Looks like I originally started on July 13, 2003.
    Start: March 6, 2005
    Start: 226 lbs.
    Goal: 125

    American Cheese is an absolute no no. You can eat many wonderful cheeses as long as they are real cheeses, carb/sugar free of course.

    American cheese is a processed "cheese food" and is made primarily from vegetable oil and water - it will stall your weight loss and trigger cravings.

    The most important step you ca take to ensure not only successful on going weight loss but improved physical and emotional well being and health is to read the book. Dr. Atkins New Diet Revolution or as it's known around here as simply DANDR


    It's not an option, it's critical. The book will help you to understand why and how this WOL (a way of live) Has such a profound change in the way we eat and view ourselves. And it isn't easy it takes work and determination. Having made this great step of coming to the board and posting is wonderful. It's the perfect first step.

    However, without the book you are pre destined to Fail

    Please do yourself the greatest favor and buy a copy of the book ASAP! By understanding the simple principles that make this diet so unique, doing a clean by the book Induction, knowing which foods are allowed and which are not will ensure your success.

    If you have the new version treat it like your friend, you're personal Bible, use it, read it...read chapters that impress you or fascinate you over and over.

    The opportunity to reinvent yourself, and to improve your physical and emotional health is right here and right now. You never have to back to that slow death way of eating again - ever.

    So as Nike says "Just Do It" and never forget, all the support and encouragement you need (and who doesn't?) is right here on this board.

      Okay back to your atkind Where are your veggies?

      You can have american cheese as long as it is real cheese, or even processed cheese just not processed cheese food like velveta or the cheap stuff
