We have small refrigerators in my building, so in addition to my Breakfast and lunch, I bring celery w/cream cheese, pepperoni and swiss cheese or hard boiled eggs.
If you don't have access to a fridge, you can always take some Pork Rinds, pepper slices, roast chicken....the peppers and chicken should be fine even without refrigeration for the time you are at work.
Hope this helps

I I think there are a lot of choices. I tend to bring my own prepared food-make sure it is really yummy so you aren't tempted. If you DO go out to eat with coworkers-it really isn't that hard. There are a lot of restaurants with low carb options-T.G.I Fridays, Ruby Tuesday, salad bars, steak houses with a grill...Also there are fast food options for when you are on the run-ordering cheeseburger without the bun...Right now it may seem hard, but I promise it gets easier. After induction, I didn't even care to watch people eat high-carb, sweet food. Hope this helps and good luck.
If you can keep food at your desk, or don't have access to refrigeration, fill a couple of water bottles 3/4 full, and freeze them to use both as an ice pack for your snacks and as your drinking water for the day!
I have a part time job that's pretty casual, and I pack a ziplock container of my snacks for the day and I 'graze' all through my shift. I know my portions are monitored, so I can eat to my hearts content and not worry about what I'm eating.
I actually feel quite spoiled when I have my little box of snacks! I like to roll up cheese and slivers of pickles in deli turkey or roast beef, and throw in a bunch of radishes or celery cubes for crunch, and a small container of ranch dressing to dip them in.
Hi,
I'm a teacher and on my feet on the go all day long. I keep cooked pepperoni slices in a baggie behind my desk. Before Adkins I always loved to pull the pepperoni off of pizza and eat it. Now I just bypass the pizza and eat the pepperoni. Makes for a great snack. I also keep celery sticks and cucumber slices with ranch dip for an after school snack while I am grading papers.
hey....I work full time also...this is what I do....
I bring some ham to leave at my desk to snack on...and sometimes I go to the maching to get bbq pork skins! And I also bring an extra can of tuna with a poppy top to leave...in case I dont have anything to eat I can eat that instead of feeling tempted to cheat.....
Hey and if you do go out to eat...Hardees has a great low carb burger...yummy...yummy!! Good Luck!
I can do this!! I just have to stick my mind to it! I am the only one that can fix me!!

I keep pouches of no-drain tuna in my drawer...I also have sausage patties in my freezer at work and a carton of egg whites in the fridge(I nuke them in a coffee mug)...
The first thing I did was go to Walmart and buy a lot of Gladware in different sizes. Then what I do is I make food on my days off to take to work all week or after I get home from work. I boil at least 6 eggs every other night, I buy string cheese; perfect because they are in individual packages and they are only 1 oz each so that you won't go over your 3 oz limit. I get tuna, or salmon (they have some cans that are the same size as tuna cans) to take with me. I usually take chicken I grill on my George Forman grill and some broccoli, a cheese stick, 3 HB eggs, and my water mug with me. I use the microwave at work to warm my food or my pizza oven. Or I take a can or package of tuna/salmon and get salad at work or take it with me and put the tuna on my salad. Or sometimes I use my grilled chicken on my salad. Usually I have left-overs and I can take them to work as well and grab a salad anywhere.

I keep cans of tuna, sardines, salmon and the like in my desk.
I also have access to a fridge, if I wish to use it.
The guy next to me has this little cooler (I believe the original intention was to hold about a half dozen cans of pop) and he keeps his lunch in that - good idea.
Whatever I wanted fresh, where I worked before, I brought in the day. It did not spoil, and I didn't mind that it was warmish (I'm not sure I like anything frigid on my teeth, anyway).
I used to bring fresh waterchestnuts and a knife to peel them - they were great, and to me taste a bit like coconut. The effort involved in peeling them makes it so you don't overdo it - because your body registers the fact you have eaten sooner, when you take the time between bites.
