Just posting my progress during the first week...
Immediately I dropped 5 pounds but after day 2 that slowed a bit to around a 1/2 lb a day. Saturday night I went out to watch some football with friends and consumed 3 glasses of low-carb beer....such a no-no but what's valuable is that I saw the difference the next day on the scale. I was up a 1/2 lb from the day before! Now I know what effect alcohol has on my body during this WOE so it's noted & I will use that knowledge moving forward!
Luckily, this morning the scale had me back down to 151.5 which is what the scale read Saturday morning before the beer consumption.
This week I'm planning to get serious about my 1/2 marathon training so I'll be incorporating 3 mile runs 4 days this week. It will be interesting to see what happens! I'm completely dreading the wicked tape measure so haven't taken measurements thus far but will do so today and keep track during the week...even if the scale doesn't budge much, perhaps the tape will reveal my shrinking bod! It may be wishful imagining but yesterday I could swear my jeans were slightly looser
Thanks to all of you for the inspiration, knowledge & encouragement!! I'm really going to get back into my skinny jeans!!!!
