  • How I'm feeling on Day 4

    Well, I'm feeling much better. The cravings are lessening and the veggies are seeming more appealing.
    Tonight's dinner: mixed grilled veggies, sausage(no sugar), and faux sweet potatoe recipe (canned pumpkin, cream, butter - not pumpkin pie filling)
    and a few olives - Very satisfying
    The best is that I had a very demanding day at work and I still feel energetic.
    NOrmally my energy level crashed as soon as I was done work and I was practically useless to my family. Also because I am having a very demanding year work/family/moving/building/ life was often feeling overwhelming but today I feel I have more stamina and energy.
    These are my main reasons for adopting the Atkins WOE
    To increase energy and stamina, and to feel more comfortable in my body. I am feeling the bulk and it's uncomfortable, of course to decrease risk of disease - I guess you could say improve quality of life.
    Also, it feels like the brain fog has cleared.

    Thanks for 'listening', it does me good to come here and just pour it all out!

    Third goal: 169 - reached just before Christmas
    got down to 154 by spring but got off track & went up 10
    Next Goal - To stop dickin' around and meet GW by Dec 30 2009
