Re: Help Please - I'm Starving!

I'm new too but this is what has been helping:

As mentioned, grill, roast, bake whatever a large amount of meat to have on hand. Today I am grilling a large pack of chicken breasts to use for dinners and to shred in my lunch salad.

I also have been cooking up the fauxpotatoes (cauliflower) and faux sweet potatoes (pumpkin) and usually have enough for a few meals. I like to have something warm at dinner and at lunch on the weekends.
When I get my kitchen back I will also do the boiled eggs and make some creamy veggie soups to have on hand for lunches as the weather turns colder and salads aren't as appealing.

In my lunch salad I put some shredded chicken, a little cheese, avocado, hot banana peppers, olives and whatever other veggies I feel like with a little dressing and maybe a sprinkling of parmesan. It is very filling and satisfying.

I also like celery and cream cheese for a snack if I feel a little peckish.

Breakfast is generally cheese omelet with a few veggies.

    Hope that helps.

I dunno if this has been said but I always read that if you get hungry to eat a spoonful of cream cheese, because the fat content of the cream cheese will get rid of your hunger....

Re: Help Please - I'm Starving!

i have an ounce of cheese when i get home from work to tie my over while making dinner.
when i was having a hypoglycemic attack (on low calorie) i would do the same and it would stabilize my blood sugars and take away the hunger. temporarily but it works.

stay away from the processed meats, they are full of nitrates, sugar and sodium.

and eat more!! this is not a low calorie diet, it's a yummy, high fat high protein cook your butter in butter diet lol j/k of course.
