    Re: Off the Wagon

Well, it's good that you are restarting.

The most important thing for you to do right now is figure out why you fell off plan. Once you figure that out, you can develop coping strategies to deal with your triggers so you're less likely to fall off this time.

      Re: Off the Wagon

Well the fact that you fell off the wagon and right away want to get back on it really sets you back on the right track!!! It happens to us all so please don't feel defeated. The only advice I have is to stay focus and remember what your goal is. Accomplish it and moved on to the next challenge. You are doing great and we all support you!!

It happens to everyone but the fact that you came here and posted shows that you simply had a "slip". Let us know how you're doing tomorrow as well

                thanks for the encouraging words.
I feel really good today, no coffee is a bit rough as i didn't cut it out the first time but today is so far so good. Had breakfast (2 hardboiled eggs) and a huge salad with chicken, peppers, and avocado for lunch. Dinner will be chicken again I'm sure and asparagus. Feels good not to feel stuffed! I'm going to make some zucchini chips tonight I think as those are perfect for snacks.

WAtch it with the snacking. You should only eat between meals if you are hungry---not because it's a habit or because it gives you something to do.

Also be careful with you vegetable carbs. Remember during Induction, those veggies are limited to 3 cups daily. If you use veggies as snacks and if you only eat snacks if you are hungry, then as ketosis kicks in, you might not be eating that daily amount of veggies.

                  So be careful.

                    Re: Off the Wagon

i'm more of a grazer than i am a "meal eater"
i find it VERY difficult to get vegetables in as i hate them with a passion so the zucchini chips are a great alternative for me.
i tend not to eat out of boredom with atkins, but unless i remind myself to eat every few hours i don't as i don't actually get hungry.

                    thanks for the advice tho.
