  • Chocolate Cravings

I am on day 10 of my induction and have been doing pretty well. I have totally stayed away from soda and chocolate my two biggest nemesis and feel very proud of myself, but I as I sit here typing this I do so only to keep myself form eating the hershey's kisses that are on my desk. There is a candy jar that my boss keeps stocked for the customers and of course today it has my fav chocolate. I am sure that if i resist i will feel better about myself later but it is soooooo hard. Anyone that wants to chat to keep my fingers busy please feel free to post back or PM me.
Thanks for listening to me rant.

You're on day 10? Then you're already kicking fluffy butt! Do NOT give chocolate power over you. Chocolate doesn't love you back and it just wants to sit on your bum. I know, I've tried to get chocolate to love me for years and all it does is add weight and make me miserable

I have downed a whole bottle of water and really don't feel hungry at all. It is nuts how you can know in your brain what you should do and yet you still have to fight yourself to do it. I had never thought of myself as a weak person untill I had to address my weight issue. When it comes to food and my weight I turely was weak. I am ready to be over that and to be a truely strong person in every aspect of my life.

        Thanks for the support

            An answer to the craving

Well At least now I know where my craving came from: TOM my ugly friend reared his head not 30 minutes after my craving. These stupid female hormones. Thanks for your support and I am proud to say i resisted and now that I know where the craving came from I can resist even further.

I have a recipie for chocolate mousse. Sorry, no exact measurements but I will get close.
1/4 c. heavy whipping cream (may use reg whipping cream) (in milk type carton)
1/2 t. hersheys cocoa (it is unsweetened powder for baking)
2 packets of equal. (some have said sweet n low was not as good?)
Mix it all in a blender until mousse forms (4 min?)
I like to put spray whipped cream on top.
As you mix it before it turns to mousse, taste it and see if you need more choc or sweetener.
YUM. It really satisfies the choc craving.

While luvthin means well, avoid the treats and stay with the water!!!

The thing you can learn is that when we feel a craving, we believe it is for sweets or chocolate or whatever is your former substance, but ... what you did by drinking water proved that cravings can be eliminated.

Clean induction is best ... stay away from the sweets, learn something about yourself, have a secret that no one else has to know in your work area ... that you are stronger than the chocolate and the water is leading you to a thinner you!!!!

When you are alone in your head, you are in a bad neighborhood.
