I've eaten all my alloted food for the day, and have drank 120 oz of water. Why am I hungry?

Re: First night....and I'm hungry!
EAT EAT EAT.... protien no carbs... you want to be successful and if you are hungry you will be miserable. fry an egg... some precooked chicken, some tuna salad with mayo, EAT!!! YOur body is adjusting and it is saying I am hungry for carbs... desperatly trying to get you to cave to the cravings... eating some protien will trigger your brain into thinking it has had enough of what it needs.
GOOD LUCK!

It takes some time from the beginning of induction for your body to switch from relying on carbs to relying on fat for energy. There are plenty of foods you can eat freely of on induction to satisfy your hunger.
What have you eaten today? Perhaps you 'alotted' yourself too little food??~Susan

Re: First night....and I'm hungry!
Along with Boonie Stomper, I suspect you may not have eaten enough. Here's some things I rely on: deviled eggs or just plain boiled, ham rolled around cream cheese, celery slathered with cream cheese, salami (2" rounds paper thin sliced) and cheese cubes with a handful of pork rinds, and my favorite, a hot cup of herbal tea (vanilla bean decaf is my current) with a dollop of the thick, thick, thick kind of heavy whipping cream (our local dairies produce a thick one that pours like honey). Fats, fats, fats, will make you feel full and better than feeling full from salad, you will feel like you've eaten really well and luxuriously. Keep going, you can do it!redfoxglove
