  • I lost Five Pounds **SO WHAT** From Peter

    Hi Folks! :wave

This morning is my 14th day of what's going to be a long term clean machine Induction - I've lost 5 pounds. Am I delighted? you bet

But what's even more amazing to me is:
    • *My Gastric Reflux is 100% gone

      * I'm sleeping like a baby, no more Insomnia

      * I'm walking a mile a day on WATP

      * I feel a sense of well being that can't be measured by scales or tape measures

      * I'm eating all these wonderful foods - Atkins is a dream come true for anyone who loves to cook - and eat!

      * The folks on this board have been so incredibly encouraging, I find myself in awe of the bottomless well of kindness that exists in this special place in cyber space!

Am I happy to be losing weight? - most definitely. But the benefits listed above outweigh the weightloss 10 fold.

So if anyone out there is feeling blue or frustrated on Induction. I urge you to remember that this WOL offers life long benefits that can't be measured by a scale - stay the course!

    Peter ha

Way to go Peter. You're so right about Atkins. How can this be a diet when we can eat all of this awsome food? It's not a diet. Amazing is what it is.

Congratulations Peter on both the 5 pounds, and finding the even better benefits of this WOL!

It's amazing what we all end up accomplising in addition to weighloss when we follow this WOL. For instance... you Peter will be doing WATP 2 mile in NO time!

Again, congrats! And thanks for all you share with us!

Congratulations to you, Peter! Now change your tickerfactory ticker. You deserve it!

You're right about all the fringe benefits of this WOE. My DH has lost 75 pounds and I still look to see if he's breathing at night because he doesn't snore anymore! He used to sound like a bandsaw and he also had bad apnea. It's all gone and he sleeps so much better and wakes up refreshed. Keep up the good work!

              Just Awesome!

Way to go! And I love your list of benefits beyond the weight loss and your positive attitude about all the food choices. Now if you just stay out of the kittys dry food, you will make it all the way!

I noticed this after just one day of atkins...

No longer had to take the Zantac before bed. Aside from weight loss, it is the best side effect for me!

                  Congrats
