  • Made it through induction!

Yes! I made it through Induction. I don't know how much I have lost total because I'm in the weigh no way challenge, but I know I've gone down from a size 12 (my start weight of 176 before Atkins) to a snug 8. I'm guestimating I've lost about 7-8lbs.

I did however have a half slice of birthday cake in our office for our summer birthdays. No cravings, but I did plan to have this little slice of cake so it's back to Atkins for dinner and extra exercise to burn off that cake.

I plan to start OWL when I weigh in on Saturday. It feels great not to feel like I have to have cake. I actually decided with a rational mind last week that I was going to have 1 small slice. But I just wanted to say that Induction wasn't bad at all. I'll probably continue eating induction foods until I officially transition to OWL.

Thanks guys! I even bought some ketone strips, and I am still in ketosis. Not deep but still. I can't wait to do induction!

Wait, I thought you said you just did induction?
Are you talking about extended induction?

I am curious how others make that decision...I may do extended induction, my first 14 days ends tomorrow...
