  • Finished Induction!

I finished Induction and lost 11.5 pounds!!!

I'm going to try to do Induction for a couple more weeks b/c I have a lot to lose (about another 160 pounds) - but I am getting bored with the food choice and I think it will be hard for me to do Induction much longer.

I am going to try to do it for two more weeks, and then move onto the first rung of OWL b/c I don't think I'll be able to keep on Induction for longer than that.

            Re: Finished Induction!

So far most of the recipies I found include things that would not work on Induction - like tomato sauce or include more than a cup of "other vegetables" per serving. I'm having trouble finding recipies that completely fit within Induction. Maybe that is part of the problem with me getting bored.

There are many nice recipes on this board. And then there is Linda's webpage. She stars all her induction friendly recipes. And she has quite a few really good ones.

I would suggest you move to rung 1 of OWL NOW and add 5 net carbs more of induction veggies. This will allow you to add an extra cup (or more depending on what veg you choose) and therefore avail yourself of the recipes you have found.

There is nothing to stop you staying on the first OWL rung and adding several 5 net carbsworths of the vegetables till you are eating maybe 30 or 40 net carbs of your veg. Some people even use the veg rung of OWL in this way to discover their CCLL.

Instead of using tomato sauce you can cook and puree fresh tomatoes - 5 ounces of which is about 5 net carbs. add seasoning to taste!!
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
