:yikes That's awesome. Can you please tell us some of your menus and how much you exercised to lose that much in such a short time?

        WooHoooo! :joy :joy :joy

Okay, so what you have to do next is look at the Day 15 stickie. Re-read Chapters 11-14.

Figure out your degree of metabolic resistance to weight loss. Ask yourself the 4 Questions. And decide whether to do an Extended Induction or go directly to OWL (and all the wonderful foods there.)

Congrats on being a (weight) Loser!

          Way to go!!! :joy

So is it safe to say you're a believer and will continue to remain on this WOE? :hug

We'll miss you here in the 14-day induction forum, but I look forward to seeing you in (as 2late says) extended induction or OWL!

Thanks all! I feel sooo much better!

I would be happy to share my menu and exercise, but I wouldn't suggest you follow it, because even though I never cheated, I ate only the food I was allowed.. I didn't exactly follow all the rules.. only because I sometimes just couldn't. Meaning, I didn't exactly eat 3 meals a day (I had a huge loss of appetite) I struggled with my veggies and got down as much as I could. (yesterday I ate raw spinach mixed with my greens for the first time in my life and I survived!) Exercise had me a little scared, but even though I didn't take 30 minutes out of the day just for exercise, I was constantly doing something.. housework, shopping, taking care of the kiddies, just always moving. I did walk at my local park as often as possible and my last visit there I made it a 1.5 mile walk! That was a huge accomplishment for me. I once couldn't walk to my bed without getting out of breath. Seriously. I worked my way up to that 1.5 mile. If you can only go ½ a lap, don't get frustrated, you've done good, next time you will be able to go a little extra. Maybe 3 days a week I took a few minutes to do light exercise, leg lifts and such.. I'm one that just can't feel forced or I'll give up. The best thing about this diet is once you get the hang of it, YOU are in control.. and the book is your best friend always there for you, always full of info only to help you. Much like this board. It always inspires me to read all the posts and replys from people who are just here to encourage people and help them better themselves. You guys are amazing.

WATER... I have NEVER in my life drank SO much WATER! And that alone was an awesome feeling, made me feel healthy and fresh.

I'm going to stay on induction for a while, until I can better understand the next phase. I understand the weight loss will slow down and that's fine by me. I know even though it will be a long road, atleast 22 pounds is NOT coming back!
