  • Frustration!!

    So I have been doing the atkins induction for a week now and did not lose anything and i am following all the rules! I am getting really frustrated i put all this work in and i dont see any changes. Any hints or suggestions?! I did atkins befor and it really worked i do not know why it isnt this time.

    Hi Kris
    Remember that induction is supposed to be 14 days and that not everyone loses weight to start with. Wait till the 15th day and see if you have any losses of either pounds or inches.
    How much weight are you hoping to lose?
    Can you list a detailed menu including quantities for the last few days in the 'Review my menu' forum so others can see if there is anything known to be a problem?
    Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?

      Kris- I had the exact same problem!! I have also seen great results in the past so I was shocked this time. I am on day 9 and as of yesterday hadn't lost anything...but I believe I did lose about an inch and a half around the waist. I decided to try cutting cheese out of the diet for a few days and see if that makes a difference. I also just started going to the gym again today (after a few months of absense). Good luck and let us know when you start seeing results.

          I was going to say, try measuring your inches. Also are you doing any exercises? I have been stuck at my weight, and I have added in even more exercise (about an hour) and I got past my little plateau.

          Lose 7lbs is my next goal. Done 4/07/10
          Lose 5lbs is my next goal. Done 4/17/10

            boy, you and me both! Except I have had some 2 carb bars and shakes (Atkins) where I was told that was a no no. My girlfriend had them and all was fine- she has lost 7 pounds in 8 days. I too have lost 0 in 9 days. I feel your frustration.
