  • Calorie....how many?

If i use fitday should i lower the number of calories i eat as my weight goes down? Or does it matter whether or not i'm above or below what i should be eating daily? I'm just kinda confused. I'm loosing about 1 pound every day or so; should i be decreasing my calories as the weight comes off each day? Or stay at a set amount for a certain amount of time? Or should i not count at all???

    Re: Calorie....how many?

Unless you are nearly at your goal and finding your weightloss stopping I would not bother to restrict calories at all.

On Atkins we try to learn how much food our body needs rather than deciding on an arbitrary number of calories. Eat when hungry and till no longer hungry and of only 'legal' foods and I am sure you will not go wrong.

As your body gets smaller and needs less food you will probably decrease the amount you eat without having to make a conscious choice to restrict it.

Most people find that their appetite tends to diminish on induction, and their calories drop without any decision in their part, so that sometimes they do have to watch their calorie numbers in order to ensure they are eating 'enough' calories to keep their body in good health and able to lose weight.
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
