So we are leaving on a road trip next Thursday that will be 1500 miles round trip in a 4 day span. I plan to take a cooler with bottled water, some induction legal salad dressing so I can have a salad when the rest of my family wants to stop for burgers. I could probably do some celery and cream cheese and maybe some boiled or deviled eggs, and cheese slices. I'm not big on lunch meats, I don't like the texture of most of them. Does anybody have any other suggestions for things I can pack to stay on track while we are on the road? Thanks in advance!

1st Goal ~ 199 Onderland -Met 3/29/10
2nd Goal ~ 174 No longer obese
3rd Goal ~ 150 In the home stretch
Final Goal ~ 145 or below (I'll know when I get there) No longer overweight

Lets see--- How about--
Canned or jarred olives
pork rinds
salsa
tuna pouches
sardines
avacados (great monounsaturated fats)
nuts (if in that rung)
flaxmeal muffins
Cook a roast and slice it up to go
Baked chicken or chicken breast strips
coleslaw
sliced cucumbers, peppers
cheese crackers(if you need the recipe, i'll get it to you)
dip--
Dill Dip
1 pint sour cream
1/4 small onion
1 heaping tbls. dry dill weed
1/2 tsp. salt or Vege-Sal
1. Put the sour cream, onion, dill weed and salt in food processor, and process untill the onion disappears.
2. You can serve this right away but it taste better after sitting for a few hours.
If I think of anything else, i'll be back
