Re: Fluffy Girl is on day 6, and eating carbs
I agree with not2late that it was sabotage, and self-sabotage at that. I agree that falling asleep is not a good thing, but neither is relenting after 6 days and saying "well, I have to do this, because it's not going to work if I don't." It's six days. Nothing can be successful, nor can any meaningful result be derived in six days. When you give up on something and say well I'll only do this once, then the next time and the next time are just easier and easier. You have to push through this lack of energy until your body shifts itself from one energy source to the other. If you don't, this will never work as a way of life for you.
The above post about eating the wrong sort of diet and being "induction friendly" creates some problems for new folks. I would like to see the diet posted for a couple of days as well, because after a few days, when your body begins to burn fat for fuel, you should have infinitely more energy...how do I know...because fat, in any measurable quantity, has three times the energy than carbs/protein...obviously some of this advantage in energy is consumed because it's harder to convert fat into usable energy, but it does create substantially more energy. But that said, the body actually does need some carbohydrate content (er go the 20 grams) to kickstart or generate the process. So you can actually undersupply the carbohydrate balace to the body and in so doing actually short-circuit the fat-burning process. That's why it's important to eat an appropriate number of carbohydrates a day...ideally from lower glycemic sources. It's also possible that the sugar free jello is triggering the body to crave carbohydrates as well. I have that problem if I let myself eat peanuts or peanut butter during periods where I'm trying to get my weight back down if I let it get up by eating outside of what I should be eating. You also seem to be eating a lot of cheese.
Ty.
